- 1.5 oz gin
- .75 oz C&S Ginger Honey
- .75 oz lemon juice
Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker. Top with ice and shake for 15-20 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with lemon peel, expressed.
Brown Derby
- 1.5 oz bourbon
- .5 oz C&S Ginger Honey
- .75 oz grapefruit juice
Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a grapefruit peel, expressed.
The Brown Derby, named after the same famous Los Angeles hat-shaped restaurant, was invented in 1930s Hollywood. Here, it benefits from the smooth pop of ginger heat.
The Classic Hot Toddy
- 1 cup water
- 2 oz whiskey of your choice
- .75 oz C&S Ginger Honey
- .75 oz lemon juice
Boil water and add to a mug with other ingredients. Garnish with a lemon round and cinnamon stick. Stud the lemon with cloves if you're feeling fancy.
